The objective
of Dunoon Out of School Hours Care is to provide a safe, cooperative and fun
environment in which children can socialise and play. The service is provided
after school and on school holidays at Children can
choose from art/craft, physical/sports and homework activities throughout the
afternoon sessions and most of their playtime is self determined and directed.
The centre has a strong emphasis on independent and imaginative games and play. The Dunoon OSHC
service is a unique service in this area. It is operated by Lismore & District
Family Day Care Inc, as part of its community service objectives. LDFDC is a
not-for- profit community service organisation.
Opening Hours The
centre operates after school daily between the hours of 3 pm - 6 pm.
Fees and Charges The cost of
the After School service is $16.00 per afternoon session and $38.00 per day for
Vacation care. Most families receive some child care benefit (CCB) and this is
deducted from the total cost of care. This will make the service more affordable
for your family with the cost ranging from $5 to $15 approximately per session.
To receive CCB, parents must register with the Family Assistance Office and
inform them of the service they intend on using.
